Before we get started, there are a few things to keep in mind.
No hidden costs
There are no hidden costs payable by the merchant to the banks.
Activation
Activation is subject to review and approval of Ozow at its sole discretion.
Monthly billing
Monthly transaction fees are billed in arrears.
High-risk merchants*
Our prices quoted do not apply to high risk merchants.
Notes *
- All fees and prices charged by Ozow exclude Value-Added Tax (VAT).
- By using Ozow, no additional hidden costs are payable by the business to the banks.
- The package allocated to a merchant, the related billing, and service activation are subject to the review and approval by Ozow, at its sole discretion.
- Monthly processing and transaction fees are billed in arrears.
- Transactions, for the avoidance of doubt, refer to successfully processed transactions using the Ozow system
- Fees and prices quoted on this website do not apply to high-risk merchants. Merchants are considered to be high-risk by Ozow based on its screening of the merchant’s industry, activity and/or the finding of any evidence that Ozow deems concerning or risky.
- A minimum fee of R1 applies across all card pricing tiers.
- These terms are to be read with and apply with Ozow’s terms and conditions, and legal policies, which are made available on this website.

One percentage-based fee, no additional per transaction cost
Payouts & Refunds Pricing
Refunds are only processed on business days (i.e. excluding Saturday, Sunday, and South African public holidays). The time frame for refunds to reflect in the account is as follows:
- Refunds requested before 12:00pm will reflect within 48hrs.
- Refunds requested after 12:00pm will reflect within 72 hrs.
The Subscriber appoints Ozow as its agent for the purpose of accepting money from the subscriber into Ozow's banking account, holding such money on behalf of the Subscriber and settling portions of such money with the Subscriber's relevant customers from time to time, on the instruction of the Subscriber utilising the refund service.
